Namrata and Poojan were introduced by a family friend, and one of my past brides, Shivani. Shivani knew that they would be great fit and would hit it off and she was right. Namrata and Poojan lived in different coasts, him in DC and her in Bay Area, but with each meeting and conversation they slowly not only got to know each other, but also fall for each other. They compliment one another really well and have similar thinking and understand each other.
When Poojan planned out his proposal he wanted to surprise Namrata and made sure she didn’t suspect anything. Namrata was expecting that he will be proposing when he was visiting her in Bay Area. It wasn’t until she was visiting him in DC that he took her to the Lincoln Memorial where he not only surprised her by getting down on one knee but also had family and friends gather around to congratulate the unsuspecting Namrata. Needless to say Poojan planned out the perfect surprise proposal.
San Francisco holds a special place for both Namrata and Poojan as they have toured the city over the span of their relationship every time Poojan was in town. They wanted to commemorate the beauty of San Francisco by doing their engagement session there. It was a perfect sunny day with beautiful sunset view of the Golden Gate bridge. I loved how stunning Namrata looked in her beautiful sari and how stylish they both looked with the gorgeous Palace of Fine Arts as their backdrop. Her red dress paired so well with poojan’s casual but stylish look and was perfect for their dreamy sunset session. Here are few of my favorites from their engagement session.
